Wywurree is a self-contained bungalow in Newton Abbot, which enables adults with learning disabilities to learn the skills needed to live semi-independently. We are a small team of experienced and motivated staff who provide a supportive environment enabling individuals to learn practical skills and theoretical knowledge in the following areas:-

• Independent travel Basic Numercy and literacy Skills
• Mobile Phone Training
• Safety in the home
• Accessing local information/ places to go
• Supported Living Options and visits to various housing schemes

• Environmental Safety
• Food and nutrition
• Budgeting

The National Proficiency Skills Council has accredited the service-users work at Wyuwree, we are currently reviewing other appropriate schemes for our service-users to participate in.
We are a pioneering service for this area and are committed to providing a quality needs lead service. In the future we are hoping to give our service-users the opportunity to participate in overnight stays.
